Canadian Wolf - Remember it is RCM produced!

Recent hot items, as the 4th one is on the pipeline and people are looking back the first one on the series.

Just a warm reminder, RCM product is far from perfection...

Even the seller admits the problem.  So, it is quite a common encounter.
LOT of 5 - 2011 WOLF Silver $5 - 1 oz. coins
***these coins have "milky spotting" ***
(does not affect their mint striking or value, just their visual appeal)
Still a great value given how rare these are!!!!
The first of the wildly popular 6-coin Wildlife series

  1. As long as there are no scratches they are fine, just dip it in the solution and it will be brand new!!

Any information about the solution, e.g. the name or brand?

After the solution bathing, any suggestions for the storage so that we can keep away the re-emerge of milk spots longer?

    Thanks!

I guess store them in capsules and make sure the capsules are seal tight and doesnt have cracks!!!

  5. I am considering this cloudy bathing but not sure if it will leave toning some time later.

I strongly recommend No wiping with silver cloth, it'll scratch the surface and leave permanent damage to the coins!

  6. It should be fine bathing it only remove the dirt/oxidize the coins, and since its 9999 silver there shouldn't be any problem. As for toning its another chemical reaction and some prefer toning on their silver coins.

Not all toning is beautiful. With some coins toning can indeed be brilliantly and spectacularly colorful. With other coins toning can only subtly enhance eye appeal. With still other coins, toning can be dark, streaky, splotchy, spotty, uneven, or otherwise ugly, making the coin look like an algae-stained remnant from the Blue Lagoon. Because such toning when extreme is considered environmental damage, the top grading services won't grade these coins. I also realize silver cloth is a terrible idea, scratches can never be repair...

"Toning is an alteration of the chemical makeup and color of a coin's surface. It takes place naturally over time as the metal reacts with chemicals in its environment, typically to various sulfur-based compounds. Or it can be induced artificially, and more quickly. Natural toning takes place more quickly in a warmer and more humid environment."
