Good Afternoon,

Thank you for your email. If there are items which are not currently available through Kitco Hong Kong, you can feel free to open an account and book your orders through our head office in Montréal, Canada.

For all orders going to destinations other than the United States or Canada, the minimum shipping cost is $135.00 US. The exact cost will be determined depending on the weight of the order and the shipping destination.

When placing your order online, our system will calculate the minimum international shipping charge at $135 US and the insurance charge, which is $4.00 per $1000.00 of value for Gold, Platinum, and Palladium, and $7.50 per $1000.00 of value for Silver. Once your order is confirmed, the correct shipping charge will be calculated and the customer will be informed of the charge by e-mail.

Should you wish to obtain a more accurate shipping quote, you may simply reply to this email with the exact address where you would be requesting delivery along with the anticipated contents of your order.

The maximum insured value per package being shipped to Hong Kong is $50,000.00 USD per day.

Kitco accepts payments for orders in the following currencies: American Dollars, Canadian Dollars, British Pounds, and Euros. However, to pay in a certain currency it is imperative that you ensure that you place your order in the same currency. As we are not a financial institution, we are unable to do conversions of payments made in a currency other than what the order was placed in. The default currency on our Complete Bullion Product List webpage (https://online.kitco.com/sellprice/completelist.html) is US Dollars, which you may change by clicking the appropriate flag for the currency in which you wish to place your order.

Please be advised that for all funds received from financial institutions outside the US or Canada, Kitco can only accept payment by bank wire. For your reference, all transaction amounts up to $100,000 require a 15% deposit of the total order on account  in cleared funds prior to price confirmation. Orders exceeding $100,000.00 require a 25% deposit of the total order on account in cleared funds prior to price confirmation.

If payment will be originating from a US or Canadian bank and the amount of the order is under $7,500.00, then you may send payment by bank wire or official check (bank draft, money order, cashier’s check, etc).

When sending bank wires overseas, there are intermediary banks that charge additional fees prior to the funds being received at our bank. It is for this reason that Kitco requests that you include an additional $25.00 US in order to cover these fees. In the event that nothing is deducted from your bank wire amount, then the entire funds will be applied to your account.

If you wish, you may simply request to your bank that you require the exact amount of your order to reach Kitco. Your financial institution should be able to advise you how much funds you will need to send in order to cover all fees.

International destinations are shipped by Federal Express. All packages require a signature. Items are shipped out 2-6 business days from the time your cleared funds are received.

Prior to shipment we would require confirmation (either by e-mail or by fax) that the customer will be responsible for any and all VATs, taxes, tariffs, duties, or any other fees levied on the import of precious metals. Kitco will not ship any orders without this confirmation. As such, we recommend you contact your local customs authority to enquire what fees may be applicable prior to placing any order.

For further inquiries, follow up questions or any immediate assistance; please call our Precious Metals Division at 1 (877) 775-4826. Kitco's office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am - 10:00pm Eastern Standard Time. You may also write to: feedback@kitco.com.

Thank you for your interest in Kitco and our products and services.
